The Perfect End to the Working Day

Pretty poached pears drenched in exotic spices and WelleCo SLEEP WELLE Calming Tea are the ultimate soothing and delicious end of day treat.

3 SLEEP WELLE Calming Tea bags

4 bosc pears

3 cups water

1 cinnamon stick

2 cardamom pods

1 star anise

1 tablespoon runny honey

¼ cup coconut sugar

 

SERVE

Coconut yogurt

Bircher or porridge

In a medium saucepan, combine the water, tea bags, spices, honey and coconut sugar. Place onto the heat and bring to the boil.

Peel pears and place into the boiling tea and reduce to a simmer. Cover with a lid and allow to poach on a low heat for 25-30 minutes or until tender.

Serve warm with coconut yoghurt, or allow to cool and enjoy with your favourite breakfast cereal.
