Breakfast Parfait

Dessert for breakfast anyone? Thanks to @melcreates for sharing her mouth watering cacao & blueberry chia parfait!

Ingredients

Chia layer

  • 1/3 cup of chia seeds

  • 1/2 water

  • 1 cup of almond milk

  • 1 scoop of SUPER ELIXIR Nourishing Protein 

  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup

Blueberry & banana Ice cream

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1/4 cup of frozen blueberries

  • 1 tbsp of water

Method

Whisk chia seeds and water and let stand for 1 minute until seeds thicken. Mix in maple syrup and protein until well combined. Slowly add almond milk, stirring until well combined. Poor into small jars or glasses. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set. Add coconut yogurt for the middle layer. To make blueberry and banana ice cream simply blend all ingredients in a high speed blender and scoop out for the top of the parfait.

Chocolate Kickstarter

Ingredients 

  • 1 frozen banana

  • A few strawberries or berries

  • Live probiotic yogurt

  • 250ml cold almond milk

  • 1 scoop of THE SUPER ELIXIR Nourishing Protein

  • 2 heaped tsp of THE SUPER ELIXIR Alkalizing Greens

Method

  • 1 cup spinach or kale

  • 1/2 cup nut mylk of your choice (cashew, almond, coconut)

  • 1 cup frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries)
